AMFT (Associated Metal Forming Technologies), a global leader in precision-engineered components, today announced the acquisition of the business and certain assets of P&B Metal Components Ltd, a respected manufacturer of precision contact assemblies, stampings, rivets, and welded components. The transaction establishes AMFT’s manufacturing presence in the United Kingdom and Malaysia, significantly expanding the company’s global footprint and technical capabilities.
Founded in 1961 and based in Sheffield, UK, P&B has built a 60+ year legacy in electromechanical contact manufacturing and precision metal stamping. With facilities in Sheffield and Johor Bahru, Malaysia, P&B serves more than 200 customers in over 30 countries across automotive, renewable energy, aerospace, rail, HVAC, and industrial control markets.
